How do you get html files onto the internet?

I have made some html files and i want to put them on the internet but I don't know how. I want it to be free with no ads and just my page. Can anybody help me?How do you get html files onto the internet?
You need to either purchase a domain or find a free hosting site.



There are many around including freewebs which has no ads if you log in at least once every month. Although freewebs, and most other free hosting sites, don't use HTML. They use CSS.

www.110mb.com

and register for free



then use the setting to get a site name etc.
html is the markup language that the browser interprets into web pages like we see it

in order to get it to the internet you need to upload it to a web server

there are many sites which offer free limited hosting

but they benefit from ads

so I think you can rarely find one with no adds

other solution is to upload the page to a file hosting service which allows hotlinking

when the browser finds it is an html page it will directly open it

but you should concentrate on the hotlinking part when looking for a file hosting site

You could use an FTP software. The tutorial below should help you with using Filezilla FTP program.

After you login to the FTP client filezilla using

1. Your IP address (X.X.X.X)

2. Your FTP login

3. Your FTP password



You should be able to see the pages on your site. You can then drag and drop files to your server to upload or download them.
